Who is invited: Any church that has a Teen Bible Quiz Team consisting of at least two quizzers. We do not allow All-Star teams, although we do allow combined teams that have quizzed together all season. If you have any questions about your team status, please contact the tournament director.

When and where: Saturday, February 20, 2010, at First Church of the Nazarene, 411 13th Avenue in Sterling, Illinois, 61081. There will be a coaches’ meeting at 7:45 a.m., with quizzing beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. All quizzing should be finished by 6:00 p.m.

Chapters covered: 1 Corinthians 1 through 2 Corinthians 10 from the New International Version.

Entry fee: $30.00 per team, no refunds. The entry fee now includes the snacks on Friday evening and lunch on Saturday for the coach and team. Additional lunches may be purchased for $5 per person. The entry fee goes toward the expenses of the tournament. Please make checks payable to Sterling First Church of the Nazarene.

Deadline for Entries: February 7, 2010, or until all positions are filled. We will be setting up a “Round Robin” tournament for up to 27 experienced teams and 18 novice teams. Please register early to reserve your spot! Mail your registration to the address listed below or register online at www.centralregionbq.org
Packets containing the registration forms are usually mailed the middle of December. If you do not receive one or want to make sure you do, please contact the tournament director.

Scholarship Award: Scholarships from Olivet Nazarene University will be awarded to the top quizzers.

Trophies: Trophies will be awarded for the top individuals and teams.


If you do not get your reservation in early enough this year, please continue to try next year. We are always excited to greet new teams! Also, if you know of a quiz team who may not receive our information, please pass it along to them. We are looking forward to a great Invitational.
